2010 Fall Conference
Meeting Educational Challenges in Difficult Times

This year's conference will provide multiple avenues for exploring the conference theme, Equity and Social Justice for All. We will have presentations directed at three audience strands: novice and pre-service teachers, practicing teachers, and higher education staff and faculty. Facilitators will present original papers in symposia with authors of related papers followed by feedback from the discussant and dialogue facilitated by the session chair. Others will share their papers in 45-minute independent presentations. Additionally, there will 90-minute interactive workshops with educators teaching participants specific content, skills, and techniques. This dynamic conference is being hosted by Eastern Michigan University on October 10, 2009. We look forward to seeing you there!

2011 Spring Student Teacher Conference

M.A.T.E.'s annual spring student teacher conference provides new graduates from teacher preparation programs across the state opportunities to attend multiple sessions which introduce them to influential members of Michigan's educational institutions, and help prepare them to enter the workforce.
